French Broad River Campground is a laid-back riverfront campground north of Asheville near Marshall, with tent and RV sites along the water and easy river access for paddling and tubing.

It is a quiet base close to Marshall and Hot Springs, where the Appalachian Trail crosses town and Max Patch and the Bald Mountains trails are a short drive north.
