Blue Ridge Parkway is part of our guide to camping destinations in Western North Carolina. The National Park Service runs a string of campgrounds along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina, from Doughton Park in the north to Linville Falls and Julian Price Park near Blowing Rock. They sit at elevation, so nights are cool even in midsummer, and most are seasonal.
Parts of the Parkway were closed after Hurricane Helene, and some campgrounds have not reopened. Each campground page shows the official status notice we have; confirm with the National Park Service before planning a trip.
