Questions advertisers ask
Will my listing say it is paid?
Yes. Paid placements are always labeled "Featured", "Sponsored" or "Advertisement". Campers trust the directory because we are open about it.
Do I need to claim my listing first?
For featured and sponsored placements, yes — claiming is free and verifies you own or manage the campground. You can buy first; we will help you claim during review.
When does my placement start?
On the day we activate it after reviewing your details, usually within two business days. The 12 months count from activation, not from purchase. For display banners you can also ask for a later start date and choose the days and hours they run.
Can you guarantee bookings or a ranking?
No. We guarantee the placement itself for its full term, and we show you views and clicks to your website, booking page and phone.
What happens when a placement ends?
The promotional benefits are removed automatically. Your standard listing stays in the directory — it is never deleted.
What is your refund policy?
Full refund before activation or if we decline a placement. Once a campaign has started it is not refundable, except if your business closes permanently. See the advertising section of our Terms of Service for the details.
